Perform Ablution (Wudhu)
Steps of Wudu (Ablution)
- Intention (Niyyah) – Make the intention in your heart to perform wudu and say Bismillah (In the name of Allah).
- Wash Hands – Wash both hands, including the wrists and between the fingers, three times.
- Rinse Mouth – Take water with your right hand, swish it around in your mouth, and spit it out. Repeat three times.
- Cleanse the Nose – Use your right hand to take water, sniff it into your nostrils, and expel it using your left hand. Repeat three times.
- Wash the Face – Clean your face from the forehead to the chin and from the left earlobe to the right earlobe. Repeat three times.
- Wash Arms – Start with the right arm and wash up to and including the elbows, ensuring to clean the hands and between the fingers. Repeat three times for each arm.
- Wipe the Head – Using wet fingers, wipe from the forehead to the back hairline and return in the same motion. Do this once.
- Wipe the Ears – Use index fingers to clean the insides of both ears and thumbs for the back of the ears, all in one motion. Do this once.
- Wash the Feet – Start with the right foot and wash thoroughly, including the ankles and between the toes. Repeat three times for each foot.

Step 1: Takbir (Starting the Prayer)

While standing, raise both hands with fingertips aligned with your shoulders or ears, ensuring your palms face outward. And say Allahu Akbar(الله هو أكبر)
Step 2: Qiyam (Standing Position)

Place your hands on your chest, with your right hand over your left, and then recite:

أعوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
A’oothu billaahi minash-shaytanir-rajeem
Step 2
Then Recite "Surah al Fatiha"
Recite with Each unit(Rakah) of Salah
Step 3
If it is the 1st or 2nd Rakah, recite another chapter from the Quran After Surah al Fatiha.
For the 3rd and 4th Rakah, recite only Surah Al-Fatiha.
Step 3: Ruku (Bowing)

Now, move into the bowing (Rukoo’) position, ensuring your back is straight and your hands are placed on your knees while maintaining focus and humility.
In ruku Say (3 times)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيم
Subhaana rabbiyal ‘atheem
"Glory be to my Lord the Supreme"
Step 4: Itidal (Standing after Ruku)

Next, rise from the bowing (Rukoo’) position and return to a fully upright standing posture with calmness and focus.
In itidal (Only once)
سمع الله لمن حمده
Sami’-Allaahu liman hamidah
"Allah listens to the one who praises him"
ربنا ولك الحمد
Rabbanaa wa lakal hamd
Our Lord, and to You belongs the praise
Step 5: Sujood (Prostration)

While in the sujood position Say:
In Sujood (3 Times)
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Subhaana rabbiyal ‘alaa
"Glory be to my Lord Most High"
Important Points to Ensure in Sujood:
Feet Placement – Toes of both feet should be upright, not lying flat on the floor.
Forehead and Nose on the Ground – Both should be touching the floor completely.
Hands Positioned Correctly – Place both palms on the ground with fingers close together.
Knees Firmly on the Floor – Ensure both knees are touching the ground properly.
Step 6: Jalsa (Sitting between Sujood)

After completing the first prostration (Sujood), sit in the Jalsa position before performing the second sujood and Say
In Jalsa says (3 times)
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي
Rabbighfir li
O my Lord, forgive me
How to Sit Properly in Jalsa:
Stay Humble – Sit calmly and focus on your connection with Allah.
Right Foot Upright – Keep your right foot standing upright, with your toes pointing towards the Qiblah.
Left Foot Flat – Place your left foot flat under your body, sitting on it.
Hands on Thighs – Rest both hands on your thighs with fingers naturally relaxed.
Step 7: Second Sujood

Next you go into the prostration (sujood) position for a second time and say same as first Sujood of Step5.
Step 8: Second unit(rakah) Salah
Perform Step 1 to Step 7 as it is in second unit of Salah, when you finished second Sujood in Second Rakah follow Tashahhud which is Step 9 and Tasleem Step 10.
Step 9: Tashahhud (Sitting Position in Last Rakah)

when come in Tashahhud position recite this following dua along with raise of right hand index finger.
ٱلتَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلصَّلَوَاتُ وَٱلطَّيِّبَاتُ، ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
At-Tahiyyatu lillahi wassalawatu wattayyibat, assalamu ‘alayka ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, assalamu ‘alayna wa ‘ala ‘ibadillahis-salihin. Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.
"All greetings, prayers, and goodness belong to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and all of Allah’s righteous servants. I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger."
Step:10 Tasleem (Ending the Prayer)

Before completion of the prayer recite Durood shareef after the Tashahud and finally salam to your both side of Shoulder.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَّجِيدٌ
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammad, kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala aali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala aali Muhammad, kama barakta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala aali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majid.
"O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, just as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious."
Recite on Right shoulder and then left Shoulder
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ
